In Lithuanian paganism, the oak was seen as the earthly embodiment of Perkūnas, the god of thunder, mediating between humans, deities, and the natural world.

While Lithuanians are working towards including their connection with nature into the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List, this projects tries to bring us back to the state of ‘medium’.
